A Record Store For Folks Who Love Records

I run a record store because I love records. I do not believe that you need to be an audiophile with top end equipment to enjoy record collecting. But I do believe that a good record store should meet the customer halfway; it is not our job simply to procure and resell records. Underdog Records ultrasonic and/or vacuum cleans every single used LP we add to the website. Each LP is play graded and every edition is carefully identified down to the pressing plant (as info allows). You can always purchase used albums from Underdog Records with confidence that you are going to receive record in the advertised condition and that you're getting the intended edition/pressing.

    We strive to process and stock used albums for every type of collector. You will find that all used albums in our store have been ultrasonic and/or Nitty Gritty vacuum cleaned, placed in a fresh inner sleeve, have been play graded, and every used record priced $5 and up comes with a QR code that takes you to that exact pressing on Discogs for quick & easy updating of your collection.

  • How We Ship

    We ship 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, and sometimes on Saturday. All orders are shipped within 1 business day. All unsealed used LPs are shipped with the LP outside of the cover in a poly bag to help protect covers from seam splits in transit. We use cardboard pads in all shipping boxes to help create additional support against damage in transit, and we always provide a tracking number.

  • How We Grade

    Since transitioning to an online store from brick & morta, every single used LP we add to the website is play tested. That means every used LP you see in our store has been cleaned and then actually placed on our turntable and sampled in order to accurately grade its performance.
