Originally released in 1970 on Liberty Records then pressed again in '71 on United Artists (this). The first 1/4 or 1/3 of side A seems to have some fairly steady surface crackle (noticeable but not overpowering) and one quick repeating tick a couple minutes in. Side B plays cleaner with a little surface crackle right at the start, a couple quick ticks/pops, and a brief repeating tick in B2. Overall, this record has some surface noise at times but is still a good, enjoyable listen for fans of Canned Heat and their trademark 'boogie'. The cover is a cut out with the top-right corner clipped. As a top-loader, this cover is split 1-2 inches on the left seam. There is also a bit of sticker damage in the top right corner.
