Charles Mingus, "Reincarnation of a Lovebird" [VG Used]

1974 compilation, Prestige Records, Indianapolis pressing.

Original U.S. pressing, and it was the first U.S. release for the two albums compiled here: "Blue Bird" and "Pithycanthropus Erectus", both of which had been released in France in 1970.  This two LP set would be an easy VG+ grade if not for a pressing flaw in LP1.  Early in the first track (on both sides), there's a small bubble that softly thuds for about a half dozen revolutions.  It's not a loud, percussive pop but it's noticeable nevertheless.  Outside of this, the record is super clean & glossy and both albums have been ultrasonic and Nitty Gritty vacuum cleaned.  Labels have a couple water streaks from a previous cleaning.

The gatefold cover is very clean except that the top seam on the back panel is split an inch or two.  Otherwise, shelf wear is minimal.
