1979 compilation, Casablanca Records, Santa Maria pressing.
Double LP disco compilation that is mixed (meaning there's not a hard track break between each song but they're mixed into one another). This 2LP set is in nice shape and plays very well except for the very first track -- "Le Freak" by Chic -- which plays with distortion as if from groove wear. I was unable to recreate the same issue anywhere else on the 2LP set so I don't know if it's just a bad transfer and every copy is like this, or if that one track has been overplayed or played with a bad needle causing groove damage. Both albums have been ultrasonic and Nitty Gritty vacuum cleaned. Gatefold cover has some light rubbing but is in good shape.
